Hazardous waste treatment
The industrial production process often gives rise to hazardous waste that can be corrosive, flammable, toxic and infectious. This is why specialised technical methods for safe treatment are needed, to minimise the industrial risks and potential impacts on the environment.
Minimising industrial risks and impacts
Currently, SUEZ is operating 2 hazardous waste treatment facilities in Shanghai and Suzhou. The facilities are all equipped with energy recovery systems that use waste heat to produce steam supplied to industrial companies, reducing the fossil fuel consumption. Today, our projects are benchmarks in the field of hazardous waste treatment.
